Something Different

 Check out this covert coffee table design we came up with. It's a 2" square tube steel frame and 16 gauge powder coated steel top, with a lockable hidden compartment underneath. The storage can be used for drink coasters, remote controls, magazines, etc. This one was outfitted for home defense and sports a "quick draw" option, housing a pistol. We can do tables in any size, color, or configuration. This is a prototype. At Lemco, we can handle any type of custom fabrication.

City Street Grille

Check out the City Street Grille food truck. The truck came to us for a few updates and modifications. We stepped up the rigging on this baby, so the fab work is a great as the grub. The City Street Grille has been featured in the Dallas Observer blogs and was recently named by D Magazine as one of the four best food trucks in Dallas! Martin 300ZX

Another Lemco cage for ChumpCar and LeMons endurance road racing. I think once these two seasons wrap up, we may need to have a Happy Hour at the shop to hear how everyone's race year went. Quimby GTO

New full custom 3" stainless steel mandrel bent exhaust for the Quimby GTO. Procharged LS1 power needs room to breathe, meet Lemco Motorsports hand built 3" X pipe and full exhaust. Borla mufflers were used to try and tame the sound of the 650 rwhp. This thing sounds awesome!

Prescription Built

If you race in PCA you'll be seeing this car soon. The owner knew just what he wanted, and we were happy to help in the transformation of this little 944. Check out the fit on this full custom TIG welded roll cage with Nascar door bars, relocated inner handles, custom seat back brace, and trick heim joint window net mount.

Throw a flag

We do industrial solutions as well as race track fab, and sometimes, we do them at the same time. These are Supplemental Light Systems for the ChumpCar World Series. They are used during night races to keep racers on track aware of safety issues that may arise (corner workers can't waive flags in the dark). We can bring your ideas from concept, to prototype, to production. These were CAD designed in house, laser cut, and then bent and assembled at Lemco.

280Z for ChumpCar/LeMons

280Z build with full roll cage, dished driver door bars, lowered seat mount, adjustable LM seat back brace, quick release steering wheel, and a nice true fit window net mount. These guys were a pleasure to work with, and I hope to see them on the track soon.

iPhone gallery friendly

We would like to announce a recent software upgrade that allows iPhone users to navigate our links (from this date forward) to build galleries. Previously the flash inept iPhone could not display them. Now you can share the build pics with your friends from your Mac device and say "I told you they built it." Look in the near future for us to update all of the older galleries (not likely).

Packer 911

This is a Porsche 911 we recently finished a complete custom roll cage in. This is a car that has been a race car since birth and we cut out the old cage to update everything. Full cage through both bulkheads, air jacks mounts, tow hooks, dimpled gussets, all TIG welded DOM.

The March issue has just been released and features an article penned by Bob McAfee of RUF Auto Centre/RAC Performance on the practice of building a race car for the Boxster Spec Series. Boxster Spec Racer

Check out one of the latest builds to come out of the shop. It's a Boxster Spec Racer. On this car we did a full roll cage, fabbed dzus mounts for the fiberglass top, made a lexan rear window, gutted the doors, and installed the window net. This car belongs to RUF Auto Centre and will be campaigned in the Boxster Spec Racing series all over Texas and beyond this year. RUF is a sponsor of the race series and Lemco Motorsports is a sponsor on the car.

I have always had an interest in custom vehicles. I'm not sure where I turned to making them safe for people. Maybe it stems from a crash I had in a Mustang years ago. I flipped (yes flipped, I didn't say rolled) the car at triple digit speeds "racing." No, I didn't "walk" away from this one. You know what they say...If you don't limp, you ain't shit!
